Alex Shubat is a tech-industry serial entrepreneur and current CEO and co-founder of Espresa. He’s also an impassioned investor, board member, and executive advisor to several startups, showing a commitment to the growing business community.

In 1996, Alex co-founded Virage Logic and served as the company’s president and CEO until September 2010, when the company was acquired by Synopsys. Alex also was the CEO of Goji Food Solutions, a pioneering company in the food tech industry that provides healthier, tastier, and simpler food preparation.

Alex serves on the Industry Advisory Boards for his college alma maters, Santa Clara University and University of Toronto. He also holds an executive M.B.A. from Stanford University, a B.S. and an M.S. from the University of Toronto, Canada, and a Ph.D. from Santa Clara University—committed to always learning and furthering his knowledge.
