Amanda Deegan is the senior director of corporate development leading integration and divestitures for Walmart, Inc. In this role she leads all domestic integration and divestiture activities across Walmart, coordinating with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to deliver on strategic corporate goals. Amanda’s leadership enables the organization to address critical interdependencies, key resources, and conflicts to mitigate enterprise risk across various projects. Amanda joined Walmart in 2019 as the director of healthcare public policy. In this role she was responsible for legislative and regulatory healthcare policy issues for Walmart Benefits and the Health & Wellness business. Furthermore, she was instrumental in identifying key public policy trends and opportunities that lead to proactive engagement and public policy changes for Walmart. Amanda also spent time as a senior director in Health and Wellness supporting the Walmart Health portfolio. Prior to joining Walmart, Amanda was the Market General Manager of Value Based Services for Evolent Health leading ACO operations. She has also served as a consultant and issue expert for large clients around the country, providing expertise in strategic planning, business case development, change management, governance, program and project management, and process improvement to impact organizational and technical strategy During her time at Walmart, Amanda received the Walmart, Inc Leadership Award in 2021 for her work on the COVID-19 response team. Amanda has an undergraduate degree in Communications and Political Science from The George Washington University.
