Ana-Maria Constantin is the CEO and Co-Founder of Cascade AI, the only AI platform designed explicitly for fast-moving Human Resources teams. As a former Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, she honed her expertise in building large-scale cloud systems under Satya Nadella’s “learn-it-all” culture. She now holds multiple patents in AI systems.

Having written code that immediately impacted millions of users at once, Ana-Maria recognized HR and health benefits as the perfect place to use machine learning to inform individuals’ decision-making, and to do so for a function that’s historically been on the wrong side of the digital divide.

Cascade AI’s assistants read between the lines of complex employee questions to create personalized responses that incorporate each employee’s benefits, local policies and training resources by job title. By scaling HR’s individual attention, Ana-Maria and her team are driving a support shift that simultaneously gives employees actionable and understandable insights, and that reshapes HR’s ability to support strategic business and talent initiatives.
