The following is a biography of former employee/consultant

Andre Therrien is a Research Analyst in the economics department at The Conference Board. As part of the Global Business Cycle Indicators program, Therrien is responsible for maintaining the Business Cycle Indicators database and producing the monthly BCI Report publication. He also leads research analysis and production of The Conference Board Leading Economic Index® (LEI) for several economies including the UK, France, and Mexico, as well as calculates monthly comparative indicators related to consumer prices and rates of employment and unemployment.

Prior to joining the BCI program, Andre was an analyst in the International Labor Comparisons (ILC) program at The Conference Board, responsible for updating annual estimates of manufacturing hourly compensation costs and manufacturing productivity and unit labor costs.

Therrien graduated magna cum laude and with department honors from the University of San Diego in 2007 with a BA in economics. In 2016, he graduated from the University of San Diego with an MSc in finance. Prior to The Conference Board, Andre worked in the financial field, specializing in fixed income research and management.
