Andrew D’Azevedo

Andrew is a Tax Partner in the M&A and International Tax Services team in Hong Kong. Prior to joining PwC Hong Kong in 2014, Andrew started his career in the corporate tax team at PwC in Sydney, Australia.

Andrew’s experience spans across a range of multinational corporations and private equity clients. He has specialised in international tax and transactional based assignments in both Hong Kong and throughout Asia-Pacific across a wide range of industries, including retail and consumer, technology, entertainment, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, construction, infrastructure, energy and real estate sectors.

In particular, Andrew has performed numerous tax due diligence assignments for both buy and sell side clients together with advising on tax efficient holding and operating structures for portfolio investments and multinational groups with operations spanning multiple jurisdictions.

Andrew has also presented at various PwC Hong Kong tax update sessions for clients together with industry specific sessions focusing on M&A and international tax. Andrew has presented previously on international tax topics at conferences and other training sessions with the HK Inland Revenue Department, CFA Society, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

Andrew is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), the Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham) and is a Fellow of the Tax Institute in Australia (FTI). He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) from the University of Sydney and Master of Applied Taxation degree from the University of New South Wales.
