Andrew started his career in the hospitality industry over 30 years ago and recently celebrated his 31st anniversary with Marriott International. Andrew's early experience was in hotel operational roles before moving into the Human Resources discipline. He has held several property and corporate HR generalist and COE roles in Asia Pacific. He is currently responsible for the HR function across the APEC region, covering 580+ hotels, 22 countries and over 85,000 associates. In 2016 Marriott acquired Starwood, the largest M&A within the hotel industry, making Marriott the largest hotel company globally. In addition to his APEC HR responsibilities, Andrew played a lead role in Change Management and HR Deployment in the pre-and post-acquisition phases.

Andrew's passion lies in the critical role culture plays in creating and nurturing the employee experience and contributing to the success of the business. In 2023 he graduated from the Australian Graduate School of Management (University of NSW) with a Masters, specializing in Change Management.

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Andrew has been based in Singapore since 2016.
