Andy Pezzino

Andy Pezzino is VP of Global Total Rewards at the AES Corporation. The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES) is a Fortune 250 global power company. AES provides affordable, sustainable energy through a diverse portfolio of distribution businesses as well as thermal and renewable generation facilities. AES is dedicated to improving the lives of our customers by leveraging our energy solutions that encompass a broad range of technologies and fuel types. As VP of Global Total Rewards, Andy oversees the development, implementation and administration of all compensation and benefits programs to support the attraction, retention and motivation of employees worldwide. The Global Total Rewards VP leads a global team that spans the functional areas of Compensation, Executive Compensation, Benefits, Headcount Planning, Global Mobility, Immigration and Equity Administration. Andy frequently interacts with Board members as he attends all Compensation Committee meetings of the Board of Directors. Andy also serves as the Chairman of AES’ US Retirement Committees (including both DB and DC assets) and oversees approximately $2B of assets among the Plans. Andy graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Finance, and additionally holds an MBA from Fairfield University with a concentration in International Business.
