Bledi Taska is the Chief Economist at Emsi Burning Glass, where he specializes in the application of econometrics and statistics on real-time labor market data. He leads a team of economists and data scientists to support public policy research, product development, and collaboration with academic researchers and international organizations.
Bledi has presented at conferences organized by UNESCO, CEDEFOP, OECD, World Bank, ILO, IZA, and NESTA. His work has been published and featured in several popular media outlets globally, such as the Australian Financial Review, the Daily Telegraph, the Economist, France 24, the Financial Times, The Guardian, the Globe and Mail, and the New York Times.
Bledi holds a doctorate degree in economics from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Athens, Greece.
