Catherine Grover is executive vice president, Human Resources business partner and Talent Strategy executive for PNC Bank.

In her role as Human Resources business partner (HRBP), Grover supports 50,000 of PNC's employees across Retail, Retail Lending, Corporate & Institutional Banking and Asset Management Group, as well as the Regional Presidents and Chief Operating Officer teams.

As Talent Strategy executive, Grover is responsible for PNC’s enterprise talent strategy, which encompasses accessibility, talent enablement, and talent programs, including development programs and PartnerUp. She also leads the company's succession planning and leadership development. Furthermore, in September 2020, she assumed responsibility for HR mergers and acquisitions and led the HR integration for the BBVA USA acquisition.

Prior to her current role, Grover served as Customer Experience director, leading PNC’s Office of the Customer, and drove the creation of a multi-year vision for the customer experience. She was responsible for all aspects of the enterprise customer experience culture and strategy, and led the customer advocacy and executive client relations teams.

Grover joined PNC in 1997 as a management development program analyst in Corporate Operations. She started her HR career in HR Operations before transitioning into the HRBP organization. Grover supported several businesses as an HRBP and served as the HRBP director for PNC Mortgage before moving into that business as the Strategic Planning and Administration director.

She is the executive sponsor for PNC Enable, an employee business resource group (EBRG) for employees who have a disability or have a friend or family member with a disability. In addition, she is executive HR sponsor for the Black Leaders Forum and PNC Unidos, which engage and empower PNC's Black, Hispanic and Latino leaders. In 2010, Grover launched and helped lead the Women Connect EBRG chapter in Chicago. Finally, in 2014, Grover created PNC's partnership with the Military Warriors Support Foundation that has since donated eight homes to wounded veterans.

In the community, Grover actively supports PNC Grow Up Great® and serves on the board of the DuPage Children's Museum.

Grover earned a B.S. in Finance from Grove City College and her MBA from John Carroll University.
