The following is a bio of a former employee/consultant
Mun Wei is the Environmental, Social & Governance Center (ESG) Center Leader for Asia at The Conference Board, working with members in the region to apply actionable insights, enhance sustainability strategies and build organizational capabilities.
Previously, he was the Divisional Director of Corporate Planning and Sustainability Lead at Sentosa Development Corporation from April 2009 to August 2018. His responsibilities included corporate strategy and organizational transformation, developing and implementing the Sentosa Sustainability Plan, enterprise risk management, corporate social responsibility and data analytics.
Subsequently, Mun Wei founded and managed SustainableSG from September 2018 to December 2022 to provide ESG advisory and training services. He worked with various corporate clients in areas such as carbon management, climate risk analysis, market assessment, innovative business models, circular business practices and sustainability reporting.
Mun Wei graduated from Stanford University with dual degrees – Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) in Anthropology and Master of Arts in Education – and completed an MBA at the National University of Singapore. He is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Sciences and has written various articles on sustainability in trade publications.
