Courtney Meckes serves as the Corporate Benefits & Wellbeing Leader for First Horizon. Courtney has been with First Horizon nearly fourteen years. In her role today, Courtney leads the Health & Welfare and Wellbeing teams and is responsible for oversight into the administration of all Health & Welfare and Wellbeing programs. This includes strategy, administration, reporting, compliance, associate education and engagement, and communications & marketing for over 20 benefit plans. She has a large role in the advancement of First Horizon’s Culture of Health & Wellbeing and serves as a HIPAA Privacy Officer.

In previous roles, Courtney has maintained several lead positions in strategy and oversight into process improvement over HR Operations and Compliance. This includes leading various projects advancing efficiency of operations across multiple functions within HR and the expansiveness of First Horizon’s benefit offerings. She has also serves as a a key player in supporting HR through Merger and Acquisition activities.

Courtney has served on the Quality Council of First Horizon Bank and is a member of several Associate Resource Groups. She is an active member of First Horizon’s Mentorship program as both a Mentee and Mentor. Courtney has served on the HR Culture Committee as well as the corporate culture, Firstpower Planning Committee.  Courtney currently serves as a Mentor in the NC Emerging Leaders program and is active in her community through various volunteer opportunities.
