Debra Torres

Prior to joining the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Debra Torres was most recently Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer at PepsiCo, Inc., where she oversaw and enhanced PepsiCo’s Code of Conduct and various policies, managed internal investigations and developed vetting programs for international vendors and consultants. PepsiCo has been named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies 11 years in a row, including under Debra’s tenure.

Previously, Debra was a Managing Director at Kalorama Partners, PLLC, a Washington, D.C.- based consulting and legal services firm which, among other things, conducted internal investigations and advised companies concerning their compliance and ethics policies. Debra started her career as a lawyer at Fried, Frank, Harris Shriver and Jacobson, LLC, where she became a partner in the litigation department and also worked on internal investigations and defense of private sector companies and self-regulatory organizations in the U.S. and U.K.
