Deidra Parrish Williams leads Corporate Citizenship for Trane Technologies, a global climate innovation company that puts sustainability at the heart of all it does. She leads the company’s charitable investments, which are aimed at inspiring and supporting marginalized communities around the world in gaining access to sustainability education and careers. By 2030, she will oversee the investment of $100M in STEM education and career pathing programs.

A former journalist, Deidra started her career authoring compelling stories, and today, her work includes providing support and advocacy that advances the narratives of those who lack access and influence.

Her belief that corporate citizenship is a necessary agent in a healthy society has fueled innovative approaches, including at Cablevision, and as founding executive director of NuHealth Foundation, the philanthropic engine for the New York health system. She has led unique community impact programs generating millions of dollars of incremental revenue, as well as campaigns that have directed tens of millions of charitable dollars, social capital, and allyship for under-resourced communities.

Deidra has enjoyed meaningful board engagements including with Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Project GRAD, the Energeia Partnership, and Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools Foundation.

Deidra is married with two adult daughters and lives in Davidson, North Carolina. At heart, she remains a writer and has many published works, from Op-Eds to a 2017 novel.
