Elizabeth Koonin is Vice President, Client Relations. She joined UnitedHealthcare in 2006.

In her role as Vice President, Client Relations, Elizabeth is responsible for representing the needs of large employers and serving as a client advocate within the organization. Given her tenure at UHG, Elizabeth is skilled in navigating the larger UnitedHealth enterprise to bring forward assets and innovation to clients. She is particularly focused on health care transformation and aligning health system incentives.

Elizabeth’s experience within UnitedHealthcare includes the role Strategic Client Executive, National Accounts. In this role, Elizabeth was responsible for the maintenance, growth, and advancement of large, multi-site UnitedHealthcare customers. Prior to this role, Elizabeth was part of the team that rolled out UnitedHealth Premium, a quality and efficiency designation program for physicians and facilities.

Prior to joining UnitedHealthcare, Elizabeth worked for the Center for Health Care Strategies in Princeton, New Jersey, a nonprofit policy resource center working to improve the quality of health care for low-income consumers.

Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts from The University of California at San Diego and her Masters of Science in Public Health from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Elizabeth lives in Fair Haven NJ with her husband Scott and their three boys.
