Elson is a seasoned HR executive with a wealth of experience spanning across continents, industries, and diverse cultural contexts. In his present capacity at Google, Elson leads people functions globally for Corporate Engineering & Google Health teams. While his career has encompassed a diverse range of roles in HR, Elson derives the greatest satisfaction from HR leadership positions that directly interface with the business.Beyond his professional pursuits, Elson is a dedicated practitioner of mindfulness meditation and an avid reader. He maintains a profound interest in various social science disciplines, with a particular fascination for their convergence with technology and their practical applications within contemporary workplaces. Elson holds two advanced graduate degrees in HR, including a Masters from Cornell University with specialization in HR & Organization. Additionally, he presently serves as an Adjunct Faculty for the Human Capital Management Masters program at Columbia University.
