Responsibilities

Gihan is an Account Executive within the Strategic Accounts Group and is based in Alight’s Toronto office.  Gihan serves as the principal point of contact for all activities at the executive level, with accountability for Alight Solutions overall performance in achieving clients’ goals and objectives. 

Gihan has over seventeen years of experience with Alight Solutions/Aon Hewitt and consults on a broad array of human resource topics including HR Strategy, Health Care, Payroll, Retirement, Talent, Consumer Experience and broad HR Service Delivery. He serves as a strategic resource representing all lines within Alight’s business and is responsible for management of all senior level relationships leading them through outsourcing implementations, mergers and acquisitions, and other significant change activities.

In his management of client relationships, Gihan seeks to learn and understand the inherent business priorities and issues within his client organizations. He uses that knowledge to build a client-centric focus within his teams, and he works to drive his teams to create meaningful results for our clients.

Experience

Prior to his role as an Account Executive, Gihan held various operational roles supporting our benefits outsourcing business – with a focus on defined benefit administration.  He held various leadership positions within our outsourcing space including leading delivery for 20+ clients and building the framework for client outreach shared service that support Alights client base.  Gihan enjoys spending time with his two children, Noah, Avery and his wife Debra.  When he’s not at the playground, Gihan enjoys coaching Noah and Avery’s hockey teams. playing a round of golf and socializing with friends and family.     

Education

Gihan is a graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and his M.B.A. from Wilfred Laurier University, located outside of Toronto.
