Guy Ezekiel

Co-Founder & CEO
Zorro

Guy Ezekiel is Co-founder and CEO of Zorro, a fast-growing startup making healthcare more personalized, accessible, and affordable. Prior to founding Zorro, Guy was a Managing Partner at Pitango (Israel’s largest venture capital fund), where he focused on investing in disruptive healthcare companies. It was during his time at Pitango that Guy recognized the immense potential for innovation at the intersection of healthcare and financial services—and the vision for Zorro was born.

Before his investing career, Guy held leadership positions in both startups and Fortune 500 companies in Israel and the U.S. He served as General Manager/Vice President of Medtronic Ventor Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Medtronic Inc. [NYSE: MDT]; Executive Director at Medrad, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bayer AG; President & CEO of Brainsway [TASE: BRIN, NASDAQ: BWAY]; and President & CEO of Marval Pharma.

These roles followed his position as President and CEO of Ventor Technologies, where Guy first led a company from its early startup days to an industry disruptor with groundbreaking medical innovation. In 2009, he led Ventor’s acquisition by Medtronic for $325 million.

Guy holds an M.D. from Ben-Gurion University and an MBA (cum laude) from the University of Pittsburgh.

While Guy’s career has been deeply fulfilling, nothing is more rewarding than the life he has built with his family. He is extremely proud of his four kids and looks forward to seeing all they accomplish. In his “spare time,” Guy is an adrenaline junkie and has competed in multiple triathlons and Ironman challenges.
