Hayden Majajas is the Global Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Takeda. He is a seasoned DE&I executive with experience managing a wide range of global strategies and initiatives as well as a background in developing, creating and implementing people-oriented DE&I strategic plans that are both commercial- and results-driven.

Prior to joining Takeda, Hayden was Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion at LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) – the Group’s first Chief Diversity Officer. In this role he designed and implemented LVMH’s first global DE&I strategy, built governance mechanisms and committees to drive accountability, and ensured commitment to measurable key performance indicators.

Prior to LVMH, Hayden led DE&I regionally for industry-leading companies, including PayPal, Bloomberg, BP, UBS, Nomura and Lehman Brothers—and his work has been recognized by organizations worldwide.

Hayden received his BA and Graduate Diploma from Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia, and his MA from Chuo University Graduate School of Law in Tokyo.

Hayden currently serves on the Global Advisory Board for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, as well as the Board of Pride Business Alliance Japan – Japan’s first LGBTQIA+ Chamber of Commerce and is an active philanthropist and community leader. He continues to serve as Honorary Trustee of The Women’s Foundation, in Hong Kong, and was a member of its Board of Governors from 2012 to 2015. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Hayden volunteers across the globe with various non-profits that champion equality.

Hayden is based in Tokyo, Japan.
