Jean-Claude De Vera

Jean-Claude De Vera is postgraduate from Pantheon- Sorbonne (Business), IAE of Paris (DESS Audit and Management Control), ESSEC (Master in Management and Logistics) and from the HEC Executive MBA.

Jean-Claude is passionate about Global Business Services which represents a unique opportunity to combine Talent and Innovation, Data and Processes, Enabling Technologies, Organisation and Governance to contribute to profitable growth and cash. He is a GBS Senior Advisor raising the bar of Performance and Service Delivery Models for major international companies.

He was since July 2015 LAFARGEHOLCIM VP Global Business Services, the World Leader in Building Materials, (Cement, Aggregate and Concrete) operating in 90 countries with 2300 plants and 90000 employees for 27 billion CHF Revenues.

He was from March 2009 up the merger LAFARGE VP Global Shared Services in charge of Group SG&A Transformation including Data and Process Standardization and Shared Services Monitoring (e.g. 15 SSC operating MDM, P2P, O2C, R2R, H2R, and CPI and covering all Countries in Americas, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe).

Before joining LAFARGE he was President of BIPORIS a management consulting company specialised in Shared Services and Outsourcing operations from diagnostic and design to implementation for major companies (Human Resources; Finance; IS/IT; Facilities Services, Purchasing and Logistics…).

From 1981 to 2002 he had an extensive executive experience as Auditor, Information Systems and Finance Director, Business Services and Profit Centres Director (including several international Shared Services Operations) at BULL (now part of ATOS Group), INTEL Corp, CARNAUDMETALBOX (now CROWN) and BP AMOCO (now BP).
