Jeffrey (Jeff) Kramer is the former Chief Executive Officer of SWM International, a NYSE performance materials solutions company with operations across four continents and industries spanning healthcare, filtration, surface protection and specialty papers.   Dr Kramer led the company through a series of strategic activities culminating in a merger of equals resulting in the formation of Mativ Inc, which doubled profitability while expanding leadership positions around the world.  Previous to SWM, Jeff was CEO of JAM Distributing, a private equity backed performance lubricant and fuel distribution company before arranging a successful exit to Brenntag AG.  Jeff is currently active on a number of  boards including Myers Industries (NYSE: MYE), a designer and manufacturer of durable polymer products where he serves on the compensation committee and as Chairman of the Nom and gov Committee, Crete Mechanical Group, a private equity owned mechanicals services group focused on improving energy efficiency as well as Stern Fibers, another PE backed firm that is the largest North American distributer of polyester fibers.

Jeff has had a diverse career beginning in the R&D group of Air Products, a $10 B global industrial Gas producer.   He held a number of progressively senior leadership roles in both technology and business, including roles as VP/GM Chemicals Asia based in Hong Kong, VP Corporate Development and Strategy and VP/GM global cylinder gases based in Brussels before returning as Chief Technology officer.   Jeff has a BSE from the University of Pennsylvania, a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Princeton and an MBA from Lehigh University.  Married with two Children, Jeff is active in a number of community and volunteer activities.
