JoAnn Adams

JoAnn K. Adams is a Senior Fellow, Human Capital Center at The Conference Board. She is an innovative and strategic human resources leader who has successfully supported and transformed various global businesses and leaders in the past 25+ years. She has a flexible and creative approach to human resource management, with a proven ability to align talent strategies with business goals and drive change. She has an extensive background in both manufacturing and consumer product industries. She also has strong business acumen and partnership skills, coaching and developing leadership teams at all levels. She applies best practices of human resources with a pragmatic and sustainable approach. 

JoAnn is an active volunteer in the community, serving on the boards of several nonprofit organizations; she also mentors aspiring leaders.  JoAnn holds a master’s degree from Duquesne University and a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College.
