Judy Werthauser is the Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer for Walmart U.S.  

Judy’s passion is helping people and organizations reach their potential. In her role, Judy leads people programs and helps build a culture of opportunity and belonging for over 1.6 million associates across Walmart U.S. stores, distribution centers, fulfillment centers and campus offices.  

A seasoned strategist with a history of helping organizations tap into the power of their people, Judy has built a 30-year career in People and retail. Her extensive leadership, operational and transformation experience positions her to help Walmart deliver on its goal of exceeding customer expectations. 

Originally from Minnesota, Judy has held leadership roles with Marshall Field’s, U.S. Bancorp, Target, Domino’s, and most recently, Five Below, where she was Chief Experience Officer. Judy holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota. She and her husband, Allen, reside in Northwest Arkansas.
