Julia Nitschke

Julia Nitschke is a Research Analyst at Emsi Burning Glass, where she uses data analysis and visualizations to answer questions about the labor market. Past project topics include determining the impact of COVID-19 on job postings, evaluating and comparing the digital skills gap across countries, and recommending job transitions to unemployed workers based on their skill set and experience.  

Prior to joining Burning Glass, Julia worked with data analytics at Wayfair, where she focused on developing and implementing pricing algorithms, and Zipcar, where she built dashboards to track key performance metrics. She has also worked on data analysis for commercial real estate and email marketing. 

Julia holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northeastern University.
