Kathie Resteiner

Managing Director/COO, Corporate Development
Intel

Kathie Resteiner leads the Intel Corporate Development Value Creation and Execution teams. She is responsible for Company Building and Value Creation, working closely with key stakeholders as an Operating Partner across a strategic portfolio of programs. She also oversees overall operations of the Intel Corporate development team – maintaining the rhythm of the business, ensuring alignment of people, processes and systems. Her team supports the entire lifecycle of Intel’s inorganic activities, from pipeline development, to deal execution, through integration and value capture. Prior to this role, Kathie led the separation activities associated with the successful IPO of Mobileye, was responsible for preliminary integration planning for Intel’s contemplated acquisition of Tower Semiconductor, and led a global team of over 500 people globally to carve out Intel’s NAND Memory business as a result of the $9B sale to SK Hynix. She’s had a critical role on over a dozen acquisitions, including Intel’s acquisition of Habana Labs and Mobileye’s acquisition of Moovit. Kathie is the former Chief of Staff to the President of Intel Capital and has extensive global experience across venture investments, M&A, and Emerging Growth Incubation. She has deep operational expertise and is known for leading, motivating, and gaining consensus in large cross-functional teams as well as being adept at managing in complex, ambiguous environments. In high school, Kathie was good at science, math, English and working with people. She wasn’t sure what to do with that until someone suggested Industrial Engineering. She found this suited her passion for factories and manufacturing, and has since spent her life dealing with people, processes, and technology. In the span of her career, Kathie has learned that what really matters is having a growth mindset, being a lifelong learner, and being comfortable with adaptation and change.
