Klint Kendrick, PhD

Senior Director, Workforce Integrations & Transitions
Walmart

Dr. Klint Kendrick knows firsthand the chaos a poorly handled merger can create. Early in his career, he experienced the frustration, uncertainty, and talent drain of mismanaged acquisitions—moving his young family across the country after a botched deal left him wondering if he could pay his rent. After seeing countless deals unravel due to leadership missteps and cultural misalignment, he made it his mission to help organizations get M&A right—not just on paper, but for the people who make businesses thrive.

As a senior leader on Walmart’s Global People team, Klint ensures that deals create long-term value while keeping employees engaged and aligned. With nearly two decades of experience across Fortune 50 companies and private equity-backed organizations, he specializes in strategic transformation, cultural integration, and talent retention during high-stakes transitions.

Beyond Walmart, Dr. Kendrick teaches in NYU’s Human Capital Management program, has authored two books on HR M&A, and leads monthly roundtables that equip HR and M&A professionals with the tools to drive successful transformations. He also hosts the Master Your Merger Podcast, where he interviews other experts on the human side of deal-making.

At this conference, Klint will share practical insights on leading through transformation—ensuring strategy, culture, and people align for sustainable success.
