Laurie has responsibility for benefit programs in North America for global travel company Avolta.  Comprised of travel industry leaders Dufry (duty free), HMSHost (food & beverage), and Hudson (retail), Avolta has 30,000 team members in more than 110 airports and other venues in North America.  Laurie oversees all benefit functions: design, administration, engagement, compliance, and financial reporting for health & welfare, retirement, and deferred compensation plans, and has led the benefits team at HMSHost since 2020.  She was chosen to head North American benefits for newly formed Avolta in 2023 and has spearheaded harmonization projects across all programs to provide a comprehensive total rewards suite for Avolta team members.  Laurie joined HMSHost in 2000, focusing on benefit plan financial reporting, compliance, and retirement plan administration.  Prior to this, Laurie was Manager, Audit & Assurance at PricewaterhouseCoopers, collaborating with the national office to create training materials used for company-wide U.S. benefit audit training.  Laurie is a CPA, CEBS, and SHRM-SCP.
