Maeve Miccio is vice president and head of philanthropic consulting at Fidelity Investments® where she leads a team of consultants who work directly with individuals, families, companies, nonprofits, and other entities to improve charitable outcomes. She takes pride in developing strategies for short- and long-term giving including researching and evaluating organizations for support, engaging family members or employees, and helping measure the impact of grants aligned with broader philanthropic planning. Her team also provides support for the Philanthropic Consulting Program for Fidelity Charitable®. Fidelity Charitable® is an independent public charity and sponsors the nation’s largest donor-advised fund program.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Maeve served as vice president of donor engagement at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where she advised a portfolio of 100 clients on governance, grantmaking, impact investing, partner identification, and best practices in philanthropy. Prior to SVCF, Maeve was a director at Changing Our World, a philanthropic consulting firm. She advised Fortune 500 companies on social impact strategies, cause marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, employee engagement programs, and community grantmaking. She also oversaw Walmart’s $2 billion signature philanthropy campaign, including the management of a $20 million portfolio of grants focused on hunger relief.

Maeve holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental analysis and policy from Boston University. She is also a 21/64 Certified Philanthropy Advisor.
