Marguerite Samms is a strategist, executive coach, and career advocate. As the Chief Learning Officer, she sets the direction and builds commitment for the organization’s talent management, career and student program, organizational development portfolio, performance management, and leadership strategies. She collaborates on Culture, Transformation, Talent Acquisition, and Engagement Strategies. Her experiences as a Baldrige program examiner, clinician, researcher, and educator uniquely prepare her to understand people, foster a learning organization, and think systemically about a workforce ecosystem that produces business outcomes. She enjoys partnering with community leaders and peers locally and nationally to push the boundaries on talent management and improve access to healthcare careers. Through her work at Intermountain Health and in healthcare for more than three decades, Marguerite has seen how small changes can ignite caregivers and leaders to make big changes in their lives, careers, and healthcare outcomes. Her passion is bringing people together for the healthiest lives by empowering individuals, teams, and Intermountain Health to reach their full potential.
