Ms. Lowney serves as People Mergers & Acquisitions Director. Her work includes early deal planning, due diligence, and negotiation, as well as leadership of the people deal value drivers, spanning across the integration. In this role, working with other Cisco functional experts, she has People oversight on individual acquisitions for bringing entire companies into the Cisco organization – including securing critical talent, aligning the organizational structure, role alignment and compensation decisions, with a focus on culture and people experience throughout. Ms. Lowney has a broad business background, primarily with AT&T and Cisco, working in People M&A for the past 10 years. Her global deal experience includes acquisitions of small start-ups through large enterprise corporations, both privately and publicly held, and divestitures working with both strategic and private equity buyers. Throughout her career, her roles have included those in business development, strategy consulting, professional services, and marketing, with a consistent focus on transformational change management.
