Merryl Gordon joined Con Edison in 2020 and is an Associate Counsel in the Labor, Employment, Benefits and Workers’ Compensation group in the Con Edison Law Department.  She is responsible for advising Con Edison on all aspects of their employee benefit programs, including matters that affect their tax-qualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans.  In addition, she is responsible for advising on their executive compensation arrangements, including equity plans, incentive plans, clawback policies and non-qualified deferred compensation plans. Prior to joining the company, she worked as the in-house benefits attorney at Cablevision for thirteen years and as an associate at White & Case for five years. Merryl started her legal career as an investigator for the United States Department of Labor, Pension and Welfare Benefits Administration (now EBSA).
