Senior Corporate Governance Analyst

For the past three years, Michael has served as the Senior Governance Analyst at the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, leading successful Vote No campaigns on executive pay at McKesson and Rite Aid and assisting in the multi-fund effort to address the opioid epidemic. Before joining the Teamsters, he was the Director of Corporate Governance at the CtW Investment Group, where he led corporate engagements and Vote No campaigns at numerous companies, including JPMorgan, Chipotle, McKesson, McDonalds and Caterpillar. From 2005 to 2010, Michael served as the Senior Governance Analyst at Proxy Governance Inc., a proxy advisory firm, where he was responsible for, among other things, executive pay analysis and other high profile governance issues. Prior to joining Proxy Governance, Michael studied for a PhD in economic geography, at the University of Kentucky, with a focus on the role of labor union pension funds in the capital markets.
