Dr. Myra Altman is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Chief Clinical Officer at Brightline, where she stewards Brightline's commitment to clinical quality, provider satisfaction, clinical research, overall care model development, and safe innovation for care services. Prior to Brightline, Myra led clinical strategy and research at Modern Health, where she served as part of the early team and focused on care model development, provider network quality, product innovation, and more. She is also a scholar at the Clinical Excellence Research Center at Stanford University and completed a fellowship in value-based care focused on ensuring access to high-quality, sustainable, and equitable care. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis where her research focused on healthy behavior change for children and families. She has spent over a decade providing evidence-based for anxiety, OCD, and health psychology (e.g., sleep, psycho-oncology). She completed a fellowship in value-based care at Stanford University, which solidified her interest in changing the way health care is delivered to ensure access to high-quality, sustainable, and equitable care.
