Corporate Governance Officer
Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS)
Patti Brammer is the Corporate Governance Officer for the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) where she is responsible for providing leadership, strategic planning and policy guidance to OPERS corporate governance functions. OPERS offers its members three different retirement plans – the Traditional Pension Plan, the Member-Directed Plan and the Combined Plan – and serves more than 1 million members and benefit recipients. It is the 12th largest public retirement system and the largest state pension fund in Ohio with approx. 94 billion assets under management. She is currently a board member of the Thirty Percent Coalition, participates on the Governance Committee and Marketing and Communications Committees of the Investor Stewardship Group and a member of the CII board of directors. Ms. Brammer joined OPERS in April 2003 as a management team member in the finance division. Prior to joining OPERS, her past positions included work in the airline, life insurance, health insurance and manufacturing industries. She holds a B.S. degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. Previously she was a registered Corporate Coach from the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches and a six-sigma green belt.
