Robert E. Bostrom

Robert E. Bostrom is a Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel of Abercrombie & Fitch Co. Prior to joining Abercrombie & Fitch in January 2014, Bostrom served as Co-Chairman of the Financial Regulatory and Compliance Group at Greenberg Traurig LLP, an international law firm. He served as Co-Head of Financial Institutions and Funds Sector and Partner of Dentons US LLP (formerly, SNR Denton) from 2011 to 2012. He served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel of The Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (also known as Freddie Mac) from February 1, 2006 to July 29, 2011. He has more than 30 years of experience in the legal field.

Bostrom is a frequent lecturer at Duke University's Directors' Education Institute and has written extensively on these subjects. He joined Freddie Mac from the Winston & Strawn LLP, where he served as Managing Partner of the New York office and also served as Head of its financial institutions practice. From 1996 to 2006, Bostrom was a partner at Winston & Strawn LLP where he served as the managing partner of its New York office. He originally joined Winston & Strawn in 1990 and concentrated his practice in financial institutions, regulatory work and general corporate and finance work.

From 1992 to 1996, Mr. Bostrom served as Executive Vice President of Legal, Regulatory and Compliance and general counsel of National Westminster BanCorp. (NatWest). While at Winston & Strawn, he served as the Senior Partner on teams supporting the special counsel to the independent consultant to the audit committee of the National Association of Security Dealers (NASD) pursuant to a consent order with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in connection with the Section 21A report regarding the NASD and NASDAQ market and the independent consultant to the Bear Stearns Securities Corporation's settlement with the SEC in connection with the A.R. Baron & Co. orders. He has been Director of NeuLion, Inc. since August 6, 2014.

Bostrom serves on the board of directors of NatWest Bank (Delaware) and Coutts International. He was a Shareholder of Greenberg Traurig, LLP. During his tenure, he was named one of the most influential in-house counsels in Washington, D.C., by The National Law Journal and Freddie Mac was recognized as having one of the country's Best Legal Departments in 2011 by Corporate Counsel magazine.

Bostrom received a B.A. in History with honors from Franklin & Marshall College in 1974, an M.I.A. from Columbia University, School of International Affairs and received a J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 1980 and School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University.
