Sara Dionne leads “ULearn” -- the global learning organization at Comcast serving 80,000 employees. Her team of 330 learning experts create impactful learning and development services, solutions, policies, and practices that enable the continued growth and success of Comcast and its employees.

In her more than 14 years at Comcast, Sara has served in a variety of important roles in Human Resources including VP of HR for the Greater Boston Region, VP of HR Strategy for the Northeast Division, VP of Talent Acquisition for the Central Division, head of HR for Residential Sales in the Northeast Division and more. In these roles she provided strategic leadership and direction for Employee Relations, HR Operations, Project Management, Workforce Analysis and the strategic HR support of a wide range of business strategies.

Some of her accomplishments include attracting and hiring approximately 10,000 employees annually, supporting the launch of Xfinity Mobile and Go Big product packages as well as the rollout of Customer Consent. She has led transformation efforts across sales channels to improve effectiveness, compensation models and workforce productivity, and has instituted national frontline hiring assessments, implemented a Center of Excellence recruiting model, and created annual talent review and succession planning programs.

Showing a significant range in her skills, Sara served on a gig assignment leading the adoption workstreams of Digital HR Transformation at Comcast. This included building an adoption vision that integrates change, communications, and knowledge efforts into one user-centric function. 

Before joining Comcast, Sara held several consultative roles in HR and product management at Fidelity Investments focused on their HR Services products, including consulting with Fortune 500 companies on building an alignment tool for succession planning.

Sara is SPHR Certified and holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Rivier College in Nashua, NH, and a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of New Hampshire.  She is also a certified Personal Coach through WellCoaches and an accomplished facilitator, which has helped the functions she supports to have high-impact meetings followed by meaningful action. In 2018, Sara became the 1,000th graduate of the distinguished Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, recognized as the premier leadership development program for senior-level women across media, entertainment, and technology. 

Overall, Sara is a proven leader who has the ability to grasp and lead complex strategies as well as the skills to bring those strategies to fruition in simpler, more customer/employee-friendly ways.
