Slade Gormus, registered nurse, with a master’s in human resource management. I have spent my extensive nursing career in the clinical space and most recently in college health where I spent 15 years developing a variety of programs for college students. That experience allowed me to build skills in the mental health space where I was able to help young adults navigate the stressors of college and life. I merged my nursing degree and HRM degree to challenge myself and started a career at CarMax in Benefits. My goal at CarMax is to continue to use my skills of building programs to help associates with all aspects of their work and life journey.
