Steven brings 25 years of executive search and board recruitment experience, both in the U.K. and the U.S. A senior leader at JamesDruryPartners, he is a trusted advisor to CEO Jim Drury III, and helps drive the performance and growth of BoardSelect® – the firm’s innovative board placement practice – where he advises CEOs and C-Suite executives in selecting their optimal board appointment. CEOs and boards of public companies ranging from $1B to $100B in revenue have frequently sought Steven’s guidance in the selection of talent, as his unique position allows him to assist with assessing diversity challenges, cyber security risks, ESG considerations, and director business acumen. He has also helped boards navigate matters of governance and human capital, including the identification and acquisition of key talent within an ever-changing board ecosystem. Prior to JamesDruryPartners, Steven led the C-level-focused executive search practice of an FTSE 250 publicly traded recruitment company, overseeing practices in Chicago, Boston, and Canada.
