Tabitha has been in the employee benefits industry for over 15 years. Starting her career with Willis Towers Watson managing U.S. benefit plans and then joining the international team to assist emerging multinational organizations with their international needs. During her tenure at Willis Towers Watson, Tabitha specialized in the High-Tech Industry, assisting employers establish strategy and governance framework, conducting market review and benchmark, establishing duty of care programs, and implementing local plans aligned to global philosophy. During her tenure at WTW and her time at Sequoia Consulting, she was a LatAm SME, assisting regional and global organizations understand the nuances in Latin America and how to apply a Global Benefits philosophy locally being mindful of the cultural nuances. She is now the Director of Global Benefits at Avalara, a High-Tech organization with over 5,000 employees globally. As director her main objective is to ensure programs are simple to understand, scalable and innovative while ensuring it meets the diverse needs of Avalarias.
