Terrence Sooley develops conferences and seminars on customer experience, supply chain and procurement, online communities, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things for The Conference Board.

Sooley is managing director of Idea Engine, a company dedicated to the pursuit of good ideas and their thoughtful execution. Prior to The Conference Board, he spent 10-plus years developing, organizing, leading, and hosting educational events. He has developed conferences in the areas of public engagement, economic development, sustainability, big data, healthcare, cyber risk, business intelligence, and financial regulation. He has worked with—and built lasting relationships with—leaders from every region of the world.

Terrence has an MA in English literature from the University of Toronto and is happy to be living back home on the Canadian east coast where he enjoys trail running, biking, kayaking, camping, and eating lobster. He is married with three cats.
