With over 17 years of experience in the benefits industry, Tonya Finley-Gaskill  has extensive experience in the design, implementation and  strategic oversight of comprehensive health and welfare benefits programs.

Tonya joined Whirlpool in May of 2019 and is responsible for providing oversight as it relates to policies and best practices and  providing a robust and  comprehensive benefits design that enhances employee’s holistic wellness and core benefits experience while ensuring overall benefits objectives and cost savings priorities are met.

Tonya began her career with consulting firm, Towers Perrin with extensive oversight of large employer group health plans and transitioned her career working in Human Resources for a large employer in Newport News, VA leading benefits implementation, plan design and wellness strategy to drive consumerism and adherence with successful results as it relates to managing engagement, wellness engagement and below market trend cost.

Tonya’s passion fits the Whirlpool model of #onewhirlpool. Fostering a foundation of we are “all in this together” by establishing a collaborative and respectful understanding of people and culture is a commitment Tonya feels provides for an overall more engaged and health focused culture. She is dedicated to providing  comprehensive benefits package by offering transparency and collaborating with vendors and employees to ensure Whirlpool is  providing innovative tools, quality care, and keeping costs manageable for both Whirlpool and employees.
