Aaron Brown

Aaron Brown is senior vice president and head of Total Rewards for Synchrony, a leading consumer financial services company.  Aaron joined the company in 2014 to develop human resources programs and processes to prepare for the company's IPO as a standalone business. Since then, he has built a team of more than 50 professionals that run global compensation, benefits, HRIS, HR governance and HR analytics for Synchrony.  Aaron has a background with both consulting and publicly-traded companies. As a consultant, he worked for both Towers Watson and KPMG covering a variety of Fortune 500 companies presenting to Boards and Committees. Prior to that, Aaron held roles leading global compensation and executive benefits with Fortune 250 companies covering incentive programs, non-qualified programs, and global compensation processes, structures and administration. Aaron has extensive experience working with Boards and their compensation committees in a number of industries. He holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Houston.
