Aimee Christian, Ph.D., Vice President and Global Head of Corporate Communications & Engagement, Jazz Pharmaceuticals has more than 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. She has held leadership positions at Sanofi, Novartis, Syngenta and Amgen both in Europe and the US. Aimee is a biochemist with a scientific yet, creative, mind, and her career journey has spanned many roles in the biotech/pharma industry including field medical operations, training and communications. As such, she brings a unique perspective of leadership experience and broad scientific and functional expertise. Her communications leadership experience has focused mainly on corporate positioning and reputation, M&A, culture, leadership and organizational change in global, matrixed environments. Roles have included corporate, division, function and regional communications leadership positions. Aimee is a progressive, decisive and innovative leader as well as an exemplary communicator highly valued for her expertise in translating objectives into actionable plans and delivering with operational excellence. Aimee holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Drexel University College of Medicine (formally MCP-Hahnemann University) and a BA in Zoology from Connecticut College. She has two college-aged children and currently lives in her empty nest in Maine with her husband and two cats.
