Sandy Pepper is an Emeritus Professor of Management Practice at the London School of Economics, where he worked from 2008-2023. Prior to this he had a long career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he held various senior management roles, including as Global Leader of PwC’s Human Resource Services practice from 2002-2006

Sandy originally trained as a chartered accountant and spent his career in practice working in audit, tax and human resource services. His research and teaching interests include executive pay, corporate governance, and business ethics. He is the author of four books and a large number of academic papers, including “CEO Pay in the United Kingdom, 1968-2022” published on an open access basis in the journal Business History in December 2024.
