Alyssa (Lysa) Harper is responsible for firm planning and strategic execution. She helps enable Edward Jones' strategic ambition to become reality through planning, efficiency, resource management, and execution accountability. Her teams, in partnership with areas across the firm, develop and drive execution of a strategic roadmap with clear priorities and a transparent plan to run, grow and transform our business.

Lysa joined Edward Jones in October 2014 as the director of branch office administrator talent acquisition in Branch Development, leading a team responsible for hiring more than 4,000 branch office administrators annually. She has held various leadership roles at the firm, including shared services, segmentation, planning and performance.

Lysa graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, and served as a logistics officer in the United States Marine Corps before returning to civilian life. She retired from the reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2022. Lysa also earned an MBA from Boston University. Her career has included leadership positions with Wells Fargo Advisors, Citi, Cadbury-Schweppes and Johnson & Johnson.

Lysa is the senior executive sponsor for the firm's Military/Veterans Business Resource Group. She is active in several organizations and serves on the boards of the Edward Jones Trust Company, Southside Early Childhood Center, and St. Louis Children's Hospital Development Board.

Lysa loves spending time with her husband, Darin, and their three children. She enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and watching her kids play soccer.
