Andrew Clare is Regional Vice President of Client Development and is responsible for National Accounts Sales, including the development and execution of marketing strategy relative to national account prospects, consultants and customers in the Western region of the United States. Andrew also has responsibility for mentoring and developing sales colleagues in other regions.

Andrew has been with UnitedHealth Group for more than 25 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and best practices to the teams with which he engages. He works with internal business partners through all stages of the sales process as well as strategic planning both nationally and in the Western states.

Andrew has served in his current position for more than four years, prior to which he spent 10 years as a Sales Vice President and four years as a Strategic Account Executive for UnitedHealthcare National Accounts. Andrew originally joined UnitedHealth Group in 1987 under MetLife, serving three years in the Client Administration organization and then five years in the Marketing Department, where he managed the New Business Development Team and the installation of major new business accounts.

Andrew received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bath University, England, in 1986.
