Angela Mangiapane

As the President of Mars Global Services, Angela Mangiapane is focused on building a better tomorrow by creating value for the business through unique skills, scale and technology. She brings more than 30 years of diverse experience at Mars, including financial and talent leadership roles spanning business segments and geographies. Angela was named to her current role in October 2016.

Angela is a passionate leader who willingly shares the lessons she has learned about how people can continue to grow and innovate throughout their careers, no matter their roles or levels. She inspires women leaders across Mars by proudly sharing her own journey and instilling a belief in others that they can accomplish.

In her current role, Angela is spearheading the transformation of Mars Global Services to increase efficiency, effectiveness and experience across Finance, Digital Technologies, Commercial, Laboratories, People & Organization and Insights. She leads a team of approximately 3,000 Associates dedicated to enabling segments to focus on growth; while helping unleash the full impact of The Five Principles: Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency and Freedom.

Angela’s previous Mars roles include financial and talent leadership. Most recently, she served as SVP of People & Organization for Mars Chocolate, where she oversaw the talent acquisition, development and retention of more than 17,000 global Associates.

Angela has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, Canada. She has completed executive business programs at London Business School, Harvard and INSEAD. She is an advisory board member for Shared Services & Outsourcing (SSON) North America, co-chairs the Conference Board Global Business Services (GBS) North America group and is a board member of Economics of Mutuality Solutions. She is also a trustee with the Kalinga Institute working on an initiative of “zero tolerance to child marriage” in regions such as Africa and India.
