Anna Bard leads the Global Impact & Volunteer Engagement team for Wells Fargo and the Wells Fargo Foundation. In this role she also oversees Wells Fargo’s international philanthropy, focused on areas where Wells Fargo has significant employee presence. In addition to investing financial resources from the Wells Fargo Foundation, her team engages Wells Fargo’s 240,000 employees to impact communities around the world.

Anna began her career at the American Red Cross, an experience she now draws from when leading Wells Fargo’s disaster response philanthropy. She joined the bank in 2004, first with the Corporate & Investment Bank then moving to Community Relations in 2006. Prior to her current enterprisewide role, Anna led Community Relations in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia. Her expertise in strategic philanthropy, innovative program design and cross-sector collaboration resulted in catalytic investments across that region. Most notably, Anna co-led Where We Live, Wells Fargo’s commitment to invests $1.6B in philanthropy and lending aimed at advancing economic opportunity and housing affordability in Washington, D.C.

Anna received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an Masters of Business Administration from Queens University. She serves on the board of DC Central Kitchen and resides in Bethesda, MD with her husband and two sons.
