Ariane Marchis-Mouren is a Senior Researcher at The Conference Board’s ESG Center, where she leads research and thought leadership on corporate governance and related ESG topics, including benchmarking reports and thematic pieces stemming from executive convenings.
Prior to joining The Conference Board in 2024, Ariane was a member of BlackRock’s Investment Stewardship team in London, where she led proxy voting and engagement efforts for the EMEA region. She actively worked with BlackRock’s portfolio companies to address economic risks that arise from environmental, social and governance issues, and coordinated the integration of corporate governance and responsible investment considerations into the investment process.
Ariane graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a B.A. in Economics, International Studies and Political Science, and completed a M.A. in International Relations with a focus on European Security from Durham University.
