Armin leads the PwC Swiss Corporate Tax practice. He joined PwC in 1988, served a tour of duty at PwC Washington DC 1995/96, became partner in 1996 and has over 27 years of experience in international tax consultancy.  Armin holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland (lic. oec. HSG) and has qualified as a Swiss Certified Tax Expert. Armin is fluent in German and English.

As a member of the global PwC International Tax Services (ITS) Network and country leader for ITS, Armin has gained extensive experience in leading complex cross-border tax projects.  Armin is highly experienced in providing international tax consultancy for large quoted and privately held Swiss and foreign multinationals. He advises his clients on tax effective set-up of legal entity structures including capital market transactions and acquisitions, domestic and cross-border tax restructurings, tax effective group financing, tax efficient profit repatriation etc. 

As former leader of the Swiss Transfer Pricing team, Armin also has gained special expertise regarding  tax effective business models and value chain transformation projects, application of transfer pricing methods for  tangible and intangible goods, management fee, technology cost sharing and IP licensing arrangements, global transfer pricing documentation projects, and negotiation of Mutual Understanding and Advance Pricing Agreements as well as Tax rulings with the Swiss tax authorities. Furthermore, Armin is active in tax policy matters. As a member of technical workgroup he provides input to the Swiss corporate tax reform III project. Further, Armin is a frequent author and lecturer on international tax and Swiss tax policy matters.
