Work History

Ashlee joined BNSF as the Director of Medical Benefits & Communication in March 2022 and is responsible for the strategy, enhancements, communication and financial projections for health and welfare benefits.  She also represents BNSF on a health and welfare subcommittee for nationally bargained benefit plans among other Class I Railroads.

Ashlee started her career in benefits with Lockton Dunning, focusing on 401(k) retirement plan consulting.  She then led the 401(k)-consulting practice for a small wealth management firm.  With a desire to expand her knowledge outside of the 401(k) space, she joined 7-Eleven, leading the retirement committee, leave of absence team, and benefits administration.  An opportunity arose to join a rapidly growing organization, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, to lead the benefits department (H&W, LOA, Retirement plans), focusing on enhancements and process improvement for a rapidly changing workforce.

Interests and Hobbies

  • Ashlee spends much of her free time with Ruger, her 3-year-old puppy.
  • In her time off, Ashlee enjoys hosting events, cooking, traveling, good wine, country music, two-stepping, patios, making candles, and catching up with friends.
